Trading members of the Exchange are hereby informed that, pursuant to the Composite Scheme of Amalgamation as approved by the Hon’ble High Court of Gujarat at Ahmedabad providing for the amalgamation of (1) Torrent Energy Limited and (2) Torrent Cables Limited with Torrent Power Ltd., Torrent Power Ltd has intimated a Record Date for the purpose of effecting the Amalgamation of Torrent Cables Ltd with Torrent Power Ltd.
Trading Members are advised not to deal in the equity shares of Torrent Cables Ltd. with effect from the under mentioned date.

Composite Scheme of Amalgamation: -
Upon the Scheme becoming effective, and In consideration of the transfer and vesting of the Undertakings of Torrent Cables Ltd in Torrent Power Ltd., Torrent Power Ltd. shall issue and allot Equity Shares to the equity shareholders of Torrent Cables Ltd. in the following proportion :
“19 (NINETEEN) equity Shares of Rs.10/- each at par of Torrent Power Ltd for every 20 (TWENTY) equity shares of Rs.10/- each held in Torrent Cables Ltd”.
